Securing the Post-Storm Perimeter
I remember the heavy, relentless rain back in 2007 that turned the downtown Gilroy soil into a muddy mess. After those massive storms, we saw unsecured construction sites near the Uvas Creek Levee Trail getting flooded out and cluttered with debris. The wind howled through the gaps in old, flimsy perimeter lines, leaving expensive equipment exposed to the elements. If we didn't get a solid barrier up fast, the local site owners faced massive liability risks from wandering trespassers and water-damaged materials.
We hauled our heavy-duty chain link panels directly to the site to stabilize the perimeter against the rising water levels. Our crew spent the afternoon driving posts deep into the saturated ground to ensure nothing shifted during the next downpour. We reinforced every corner with extra bracing because we know how the wind whips through these downtown corridors. The client finally got some peace of mind knowing their job site stayed contained and secure despite the unpredictable weather.
Ramiro's crew arrived right when the weather turned, and our site stayed completely secure through the worst of it.
